When coyote trapping in black dirt it is recommended to get approximately 14" in. In red clay about 10" and in sand close to 18". In differing soil types The MB Chain Stakes with the Super Stake Ends are a winner. Drive down the length that you need and the remaining chain will collapse on itself. No more cable stubs sticking up in your trap bed.
